Descending queue

 photo MesaVerdequeue_zpscad9067e.jpg
Queue of visitors preparing to inspect the ruins of Balcony House, Mesa Verde National Park, Colorado

How far is it, dear,
To the hidden place?
Will we soon draw near,
If we walk apace?

  2. These sound like fascinating cliff top ruins. (I Googled them.) Not sure I could cope with the 30 foot ladder however.

  4. Do we feel as we are about to climb down into the abyss...the view on top of the rim feels a bit safer :)
