Ruby Desert Plant

Ruby desert plant photo Rubydesertplant_zps15f45671.jpg
Ruby plant, Sonoran Desert, Southern Arizona

Strange are the ways of the desert plants,
Some turn ruby, and some attract ants;
Keep your eyes open and you will see
Wonders that no human thought could be!

  7. I was lucky to be able to participate. I was so late.....
    Do you think the stem turned red because it tried to protect itself against the sun? I have noticed that some very green plants turn red just like people getting "coups de soleil", here in France. :-)

    Have a nice day and thank you for hosting our ruby shots.
