Water Key

 photo SonoranAug2013306a_zps26d99cf3.jpg
Water key on a golf course, Southern Arizona

Someone turned the water key,
Now the water flows;
Even in this desert land,
How the green grass grows!

  1. Interesting, it's my first time to see a water key even in pictures. Love the verses.

  2. I have never seen a water key like this. In fact, I didn't know one existed. It looks so tall.

  3. It is amazing that such greenery exists in such an arid place. Just turn the key to the key 'Start' position, just like in your car. Sort of that is...

  4. Great haiku! I love golf, but this use of water does seem wasteful.
