Broken Cup

Shards of a broken cup, found at an abandoned house, Southern Arizona

Broken cup will hold no more,
It has fallen to the floor,
Shattered into tiny bits,
And become the butt of wits!

Odd figurine outside Rosebud Vintage Bazaar.

I feel misplaced
cast on strange paths of
running feet

When the sky is flaming,
And the clouds turn red;
Seven thousand blessings
Break upon your head.

Weapons Ban

Warning sign at a school campus, Southern Arizona

When you come to classes,
Leave your weapons home;
Knives and guns won't help you
Understand a tome!

Red Flag

View of Frankston beach on Port Phillip Bay.
As tiny as the red boating channel flag may be, it is still noticeable in this view.
Red glows.

a drop of red
instils a scene with
vibration

Ruby Desert Plant

Ruby plant, Sonoran Desert, Southern Arizona

Strange are the ways of the desert plants,
Some turn ruby, and some attract ants;
Keep your eyes open and you will see
Wonders that no human thought could be!
