summer shade...

Not everyone sits on a summer beach...
Some seek shady shelter on the nearby foreshore...
These chairs overlook Dromana beach...

summer shade
welcome relief from
the heat of crowds

Merry!

Christmas wishes on a tree

Even after Christmas,
Wishes linger on;
Tender are the memories
Of the day that's gone!

he has a beard...

Interesting character outside a shop in Mornington...
I think he is meant to be a Christmas symbol of all things British in the shop...

tall busby
whips up some elegance for
a red jacket

Fading rose

Ragged rose blossom, Robert J. Moody Demonstration Garden, Yuma, Arizona

Ragged grow the roses,
Shorter grow the days;
Soon comes Christmas morning—
Magical its ways!

the red door...

little beach box at Dromana beach...

a hot beach crowd
bakes and swims outside
the red door

Brilliant blossom

Unknown red blossom, Southern California

Brilliant little blossom,
If I knew your name,
You would soon be on your way
To enjoying fame!

little family wandering Dromana beach...

warm sands and
summer waters
so near and so far
